This interdisciplinary minor serves students who seek a broad foundation in creating television and audio recordings of events.

Students learn theory and get hands-on experience in all aspects of the production process, both in studio and on location. This includes operating television cameras and audio equipment; designing appropriate lighting and audio environments; directing live recordings; and finishing projects with audio and video editing.

Effective Fall 2021 

Students must satisfactorily complete the total credits required for the minor. Minors and interdisciplinary minors require 12 or more upper-division (300- to 400-level) credits.

Additional coursework may be required due to prerequisites.

Students must complete 21 credits, with a minimum of 12 upper-division credits. A minimum of 3 credits must be completed from at least 3 subject codes.
